How Kith4 works
Add the people you split costs with, record expenses, and Kith4 keeps a running balance for each relationship. Each contact sees only the expenses they are part of, and never learns about your other contacts.
Sharing with someone
Open a contact and invite them by email, or share an invitation code. Once they accept, the expenses you mark as shared appear for both of you, and your balance stays in step. Contacts who never join the app still work: they just live in your own list.
Signing in
Kith4 signs you in with an email address and password. When you sign up, you receive a code by email to confirm the address — enter the code in the app. If it hasn't arrived after a minute, check your spam folder. Forgotten passwords work the same way: request a reset, then enter the code from the email.
Settling up
Kith4 does not move money. When you settle in real life, mark the expenses as settled; they stay in your history but no longer count towards the balance.
Using it without a connection
The app opens and records expenses offline, and syncs when you are back online. Anything waiting to sync is marked in the app. Inviting people and editing configurations need a connection.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account. Expenses you shared with someone else stay in their records; delete them first if you want them gone for both of you. See the privacy policy for exactly what is removed.
